About the human
Designing for how people really behave
I'm a product designer who's happiest in the messy middle of a product: the approval chains, the multi-role processes, the dashboards whole teams depend on. My job is to untangle them into flows that feel obvious — for the person on the screen and for the business behind it.
I start with behaviour, not screens. What are people really trying to get done? Where do they hesitate, what do they skip, and what do they do when no one's watching? I've been studying human behaviour since my degree, and it's still my unfair advantage in every product decision.
Lately that means enterprise tools and operational platforms: admin consoles, field-operator apps and the design systems that keep them consistent as they grow.
- Superpower turning “it's complicated” into three clear steps
- Always designing for real users, edge cases & accessibility
- Fuelled by chai, sketchbooks & good playlists
How I work
The (slightly delulu) process
- 1
Listen first
Interviews, shadowing, and a lot of “tell me more.” The real problem is rarely the one in the ticket.
- 2
Map the mess
Journeys, service blueprints and sticky-note avalanches until the system makes sense.
- 3
Sketch wildly
Lots of bad ideas fast, so the good ones have room to show up. This is the delulu part.
- 4
Test with real people
Including folks using screen readers, switch access, low bandwidth and very little patience.
- 5
Ship & keep caring
Hand-off with annotated specs, then measure, listen again and iterate. Care doesn't stop at launch.
got a big idea?
Let's make something delulu (but make it real).
Open to full-time product design roles (remote or relocation), freelance projects and coffee chats about making complex things simple.
